Rash |

Diaper rash is very common during early month of
infants occurring in half of all infants. It is mostly
caused to those infants whom diaper is made of
toweling and is not changed frequently. It is on convex
surface such as buttocks, scrotal sac, and also on
inner side of thigh. Lension of rash may be sharply
demarcated. Some times red
parchment appear on skin.

Nappy Rash :-
Now a day nappy pad or diaper are used for
infants. Many infants are suffering from nappy rash.
Nappy rash is a common problem in all infants or
babies who used for more time in day . The baby's
buttocks become red and sore. Result of this is rash
seen in that particular position.
The basic reason
for rash is the germs such as bacteria in stool and
some substance in urine reacting with each other,
and result of this is irritation and redness. In may
case diaper rash produced by bacterial
action on the urine soiled diaper produces ammonia
and non alkaline smelly putrefactive enzymes. For
avoiding nappy rash ,as soon as baby wets or soils
,first change the nappy. For avoiding rash
apply nappy rash cream .
When nappy rash is used baby's skin is slight wet.
When you change nappy of baby dry bottom with help
of soft cotton. For cleaning baby's bottom use
lukewarm water and cotton .Don't use hard cloth or
clean by rubbing. Everyday allow baby without
nappy for a few hour. For cleaning nappies
don't use strong soap or detergents .

| Retention of sweat makes the area moist. When we put
infant constantly on rubber then skin causes erosion
and denudation of the skin. Band like lension are
observed to contact dermatitis with elastic band at
the diaper edge. Some times malaria appear as diaper
rash and it is appear on rest of the body.
2. Other Rash
(Disease Rash) :-
- In case of rash in measles it is
macopopular reddish brown color. It appear on the 4
th day behind ear and sometime it is on forehead,
below cheek, heck. Sometimes lension seen in the upper
part of trunk and face are confluent. In 5 to 6 days
rash become fade.
- In case of rubella rash is pinkish. It appear
firstly
and become fade off in 2 to 3 days.
- In case of chicken pox rash is centripetal and
appear in first day after diagnosis of chicken pox
.Many time several crops of rash occur in first 3 to
4 days.

Thrush :-
By taking all precaution a rash appear it is
nothing but it is called as thrush. When a child
cause thrush then better way is to consult
doctor. Thrush is caused by fungus
infection. Infection caused by the fungus candia
albicans in thrush. This fungus spread various parts
of the body where there is a lot of moisture like
the mouth .
When child are suffer from thrush it is difficult
for child to feed because due to thrush its skin
become sensitive. When thrush appear on mouth white
spots inside the cheeks and on the tongue of the
baby. When you try to clean the spot it appear red
in color. To thrush apply gel is only one way .Steam
sterilization is the best method to use for thrush.
